INCOS’s corporate development has been shaped by entrepreneurial foresight, continuous growth and the consistent orientation on the changing market requirements. Some key decisions illustrate this:
1972
Company founded by Dipl.Ing. Hans Schreiner. Contract with ESSO Engineering (London) over manufacturer inspections in Germany.
1974
Strategic creation of a department for non-destructive material testing.
1980
Completion of the head office in Titting with administrative and operating facilities.
1985
Successful start of the “EDP Systems” department with expansion of the service offering.
1991
Introduction of quality management with GZP certification.
1994
Expansion of the service offering by establishing the “Metallography” department. Certification of the "Inspection" department according to DIN ISO 9002.
1995
DAP accreditation of the department “Non-destructive material testing” in accordance with DIN EN 45001.
1996
Relocation of the “Non-destructive material testing” department to the new company building in Ingolstadt.
1997
Establishment of a consistent management system for safety, health, environmental protection and integration into the existing quality management system. Certification of the safety management according to SCC (Safety Certificate Contractors).
1998
Acquisition of “Dieter Straube BV-ES Kompaktsystem” company in Massenbachhausen near Heilbronn and subsequent capacity expansion of the new “Industrial series testing” department.
2002
Because of a new corporate strategy LGA completely discontinues non-destructive material testing. On April 1, 2002 INCOS takes over non-destructive material testing as partner of LGA.
2007
35 year corporate anniversary.
Operating site Massenbachausen sold on September 1, 2007.
2009
Successful completion of large-scale expansion and renovation project.
Relocation of corporate management and all departments from Titting to Ingolstadt.
Ingolstadt becomes new head office of INCOS GmbH.
