INCOS inspects in accordance with ASME
In the future INCOS will conduct radiographic testing in accordance with ASME VIII Div. 1 for a renowned tank manufacturer in Bavaria. The audit required for this purpose took place last week by an ASME auditor visiting from the U.S. Because of our intensive preparation and the extensive subject knowledge of the Authorized Inspector (AI) the audit was passed successfully, i.e. without any deviations. Safety and quality award 2009
On March 10, 2010 the partner companies of Bayernoil were presented with awards for successful safety and quality services (S&Q Award). Leak testing and leak detection (LT)
Leak testing, a non-destructive test method long established at INCOS, has so far been mainly used as bubble leak detection in weld seam testing. New head office in Ingolstadt
At the beginning of October 2009 the INCOS GmbH's head office relocated from Titting to Ingolstadt. Following the completion of a large-scale new building and renovation project the departments Inspection, Metallography and EDP Systems, as well as Corporate Management and the entire Administration relocated to Ingolstadt. Award by Bayernoil
On March 24, 2009 INCOS GmbH was presented an award by Bayernoil management for superior safety and quality performance in 2007 and 2008. The award was accepted by Mr. Stephan Schreiner. Each quarter an assessment team of Bayernoil evaluates the partner companies in regard to quality, equipment, delivery reliability, performance, certificates and safety-related incidents. Mechanised ultrasonic testing with new technology
Effective immediately, INCOS GmbH uses a new system for mechanised ultrasonic testing. It replaces the ultrasonic testing device (Tomoscan/Tracker) that has been successfully employed for many years in the area of corrosion testing and consists also of a multichannel ultrasonic unit (Omniscan) as well as a self-propelled manipulator (Tri-Pod).
